Magnolia United Methodist Church is a friendly, faith-filled community in the heart of Central, Louisiana. Our mission is the making of disciples for Jesus Christ, and we do that by welcoming, worshipping, growing, serving, and giving to God, together.
Families have a special place at MUMC: our worship style is traditional but lively, and children will feel welcome both in the pews with their family, or in our nursery, which we call "The Nest".
One person can make a positive difference for Christ in our world - but together, we can do amazing things. Join us!

Coming Soon…A New Photo Directory!
With so many new faces at Magnolia, it's time to create a new church directory so we can stay better connected with our church family. Lifetouch will be photographing families for our directory on Monday, October 1 and Tuesday, October 2 from 2 pm until 9 pm each day. Each family who participates will get a complimentary 8x10" photograph and a copy of our directory.
It's easy to sign up! Just click the link below, use the drop down menu on the left to select the number of people in your group to be photographed, and follow the rest of the prompts to choose your day and time. If you need any help with the sign-up process, call Rev. Heather at the church office (225-261-2789), or visit our sign-up table in the fellowship hall after worship on Sunday.
We hope all of our church families will make an effort to take part in this directory. Whether you are an "official" member, or not, if you consider Magnolia your church home, then we want to have your picture included! If you know you will be unable to have your picture taken at Magnolia on October 1 or 2, but would like to be included in the directory, please call Rev. Heather as soon as possible to discuss alternate photography days and locations in our area.
