Rev. SullivanPASTOR - REV. HEATHER SULLIVAN

Rev. Sullivan began her pastorate at MUMC on July 2, 2017. She comes to us after seving at Lee's Landing UMC, a small church on the outskirts of Ponchatoula. According to Rev. Heather, "One of my biggest passions in ministry is helping others discover and use their spiritual gifts to build the Kingdom. As a new clergy person I am learning more every day about what it means to pastor a congregation. I welcome the opportunity to continue to learn and grow as I join with the people of Magnolia United Methodist Church in our mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world."

AlanaNURSERY WORKER: ALANA VETCH, PRESCHOOL COORDINATOR

Alana Vetch is a student at SLU, looking towards a career in social work and/or nursing. She holds her certificate in Child Development, and has worked extensively in church preschools and nurseries.

Alana can be found in our nursery, called "the Nest," every Sunday, but she will not be a typical "nursery worker" - she'll offer a Bible-based program of Christian education for our five-and-unders.

Alana lives in Denham Springs and was married in the spring of 2016.
